Help capture and share the stories that bring Middlesex to life. Middlesex University is looking for an experienced Digital Content Coordinator to join our Student Recruitment, Marketing and Communications team.

The role supporting our Digital Content Officers with the planning, capture, editing, coordination and organisation of content across social media, web and wider digital channels.

You will play an important part in helping us create content that feels current, engaging and useful for our audiences. This will include supporting photography, short-form video, event content, student-led storytelling, website updates, content libraries and wider marketing activity.

You will work with colleagues across the University, student contributors and external suppliers to help produce content that is clear, accurate, well organised and on brand. You will also help make sure content can be reused effectively across different channels, campaigns and teams.

We are looking for someone with proven experience creating or supporting digital content. You should be comfortable helping to plan and capture photo and video content, particularly for social media and digital channels. You will also need strong organisation, good attention to detail and the ability to manage several pieces of work at once.

You do not need to have worked in Higher Education before, but you should understand how to create content for different audiences and channels. Experience of short-form video, photography, social media content, event capture, content planning or digital asset management would be particularly valuable.

This role is based at our Hendon campus, with an expectation of working on campus three days a week. There are key points in the University calendar, including Open Days, offer holder events and Clearing, where availability will be important and planned in advance.

For an informal conversation about the role, please contact Tom Fry, Corporate Marketing Manager, via email at t.fry@mdx.ac.uk
