David Lowrie Fish Merchants is a reputable and long-established seafood company dedicated to providing the highest quality fish and seafood products. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team and assist with collections in the Aberdeen area.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company van to collect fish and seafood products from various suppliers in the Aberdeen area.

• Ensure timely and efficient collection of goods according to the schedule.

• Handle and transport products with care to maintain quality and freshness.

• Follow all health and safety regulations related to the transportation of seafood products.

• Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries.

• Communicate effectively with suppliers and the team to coordinate collection times and locations.

• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the van to ensure it is in good working condition.

• Clean the vehicle daily to maintain hygiene standards.

• Assist with loading and unloading of products as required.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience as a van driver, preferably in a similar industry.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
