Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain the vehicle in good working order. A strong understanding of road safety regulations and mechanical knowledge is essential.

Duties

• Safely operate the bus along designated routes, adhering to timetables and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from the bus, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to management promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the vehicle.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid commercial driving licence.
• Ability to drive safely and efficiently under various conditions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on punctuality and reliability.
