Overview

We’re looking for a creative and driven individual to join our team as a social media and marketing coordinator. You’ll be responsible for producing eye-catching visual content for both digital and print, including social media graphics, email designs, web imagery, and outdoor advertising. You'll also help with day-to-day social media management, including scheduling posts, contributing to content ideas, and keeping our channels active and engaging.

We welcome applicants with industry experience or those with a strong portfolio from university projects, freelance work or personal design projects.

We are looking for someone who is organised, eager to learn, able to manage multiple projects at once, and comfortable working to tight deadlines. Strong design skills, knowledge in social media analytics, and confidence with Canva and Adobe Suite are an asset.

Skills & Experience

Design & Content Creation

  • Brochures, leaflets, and other print materials
  • Digital image editing
  • Social media content design
  • Email and newsletter design
  • Basic web layout design (no coding required)
  • Basic video editing

Marketing Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics and content strategy
  • Experience creating materials for events, campaigns, and seasonal promotions

Software Skills

  • Adobe Photoshop (Essential)
  • Adobe InDesign (Essential)
  • Canva or similar tools
  • Basic WordPress knowledge
  • Basic Mailchimp knowledge
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and G-suite

Key Responsibilities

  • Design content for social media platforms (static and animated)
  • Creating copy for social media and web, while maintaining a brand voice
  • Create promotional materials for events and seasonal campaigns
  • Design emails and digital newsletters
  • Engaging directly with the public
  • Develop outdoor advertising assets (e.g. pricing boards, banners, signage)
  • Produce graphics for the company website
  • Design clear and engaging infographics
  • Collaborate with the wider team on marketing campaigns
  • Proofread and quality-check all creative output
  • Contribute ideas and creative thinking to team discussions
