Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Digital Designer with a strong focus on creating engaging visuals for websites to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Figma to design user-centric interfaces and a deep understanding of web design principles. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other designers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Essential Experience
- 2+ years of experience in digital design with a focus on web and UI/UX
- Proficiency in Figma for designing responsive web layouts and interactive prototypes
- Ability to create branding concepts with the brand team
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects, including websites, landing pages, and web applications
- Proficiency in Photoshop & Illustrator for asset creation
- Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to create design systems, style guides, and reusable components within Figma
- Experience working with developers to translate designs into functional websites
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Beneficial Skills

- Knowledge of accessibility standards in web design
- Experience with A/B testing and user feedback integration in design processes
- Ability to contribute to brainstorming sessions and collaborate on creative ideas
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to design visually appealing and user-friendly websites
- Work closely with the UX and wireframe team to ensure cohesive design and functionality
- Attend discovery calls with clients to ask relevant visual questions and gather insights for design
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Design and produce visually stunning graphics and layouts for websites and other graphic materials
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital assets
- Researching design styles, competitors and brand guidelines before project begin, ready to present to our range of clients
- Create designs optimised for different screen sizes and devices, ensuring that the website looks great on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Prepare asset files, including images, icons, and other graphic elements, ready for developers to code
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional websites
- Conduct user research and incorporate feedback into the design process to enhance usability and user satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies
- Provide creative input and collaborate with the team on concept development and design strategies
- Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards
