Full job description

Digital Marketing Executive (Google Ads, Meta Ads & Content Creation)

Loudwater, High Wycombe
£25,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
Full-time | Permanent | Office-based
Direct applicants only

We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Executive to work across the Plutus companies, supporting all our insurance, accountancy and online retail brands.

Your role will include Polaris Insurance and our wider portfolio of businesses. This is a cross-company position, not a role dedicated to one brand. You will help generate business enquiries, attract customers and increase online sales through effective advertising and engaging content.

You will need strong practical knowledge of Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads, alongside the ability to design static adverts, create and edit videos, and write content with the support of AI tools.

This role combines the creative and analytical sides of marketing. You will be creating the adverts, managing the campaigns and using the results to improve performance.

Why Join Plutus

  • Work across insurance, accountancy and online retail rather than a single industry
  • Hands-on involvement in both paid advertising and content creation
  • Businesses investing in technology and marketing
  • Work directly with the directors and contribute your own ideas
  • Opportunity to see the commercial impact of your campaigns
  • Progression opportunities as our businesses and marketing team grow

What You Will Be Doing

  • Building, managing and optimising Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads campaigns across our companies and brands
  • Managing campaign budgets, keywords, audiences, retargeting and advertising tests
  • Designing static adverts, carousels and branded graphics for advertising and social media
  • Planning, filming and editing short videos, including captions, graphics and clear calls to action
  • Writing advertising copy, blogs, website content, product descriptions and social posts, using AI tools to support production
  • Adapting content and messaging to each brand, audience and product rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach
  • Reviewing and refining AI-generated content for accuracy, tone and quality before internal approval
  • Monitoring conversion tracking, cost per enquiry, lead quality, online sales and return on advertising spend
  • Working with our teams to understand which campaigns generate valuable enquiries and customers, then using those insights to improve results

Your main priority will be paid advertising and the static and video content needed to support it. Blog writing and wider content production will form part of the role alongside these core responsibilities.

Ideal Experience

  • Hands-on experience personally managing both Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads campaigns
  • Ability to explain campaign results, the decisions you made and how you improved performance
  • Experience designing advertising graphics using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
  • Experience creating and editing video content using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar software
  • Understanding of conversion tracking and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel
  • Strong written English and confidence using AI tools while checking and improving their output
  • Organised and comfortable managing priorities across different brands and campaigns

Experience with ecommerce advertising, Google Shopping, TikTok Ads or SEO would be helpful, but is not essential.

You do not need a background in insurance or accountancy. We can help you understand our businesses, products and customers.

This role may suit someone currently working as a Digital Marketing Executive, Paid Media Executive, PPC Executive, Performance Marketing Executive or Social Media Executive with practical paid advertising and content creation experience.

If you have the core Google and Meta advertising experience and can demonstrate your creative work, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every other requirement listed above.

What We Offer

  • £25,000 – £30,000 salary depending on experience
  • A varied role across multiple businesses and brands
  • Support to understand our products, services and customers
  • Direct involvement in marketing decisions
  • Progression opportunities as our marketing activity and team grow
  • Supportive team environment
  • Breakfast provided in the office

Location

This role is based at our office in Loudwater, High Wycombe and requires full-time on-site attendance.

Apply

Please apply via Indeed with your CV and examples of static adverts and videos you have personally created.

Please also include a brief example of a Google Ads or Meta Ads campaign you have managed, explaining your involvement and the results achieved. Anonymised examples are welcome; please do not share confidential information.

This is a permanent employed position for an individual candidate. No recruitment agencies, marketing agencies, creative agencies or outsourced service proposals, please.
