Job Description
The Digital Marketing Executive will be joining a small marketing team. Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy and calendar.
  • Write, edit and publish brand and keyword optimised content (news articles, software updates, case studies, landing pages, etc.) onto the company websites.
  • Liaise with existing customers in order to obtain case studies/testimonials via phone interviews.
  • Design and send email campaigns and monthly newsletters.
  • Manage Tensor’s (along with all sub-branded) social media channels; working with other Tensor departments to produce online content.
  • Make data-driven decisions and implement SEO recommendations for new and existing web pages to achieve traffic growth and leads.
  • Monitor and report on website traffic performance using Google Analytics and keyword rankings for a fortnightly meeting.
  • Engage with existing and prospective customers via our social media and online chat service.
  • Communicate with the Sales team when any prospective lead emerges via contact or brochure downloads.
  • Investigate and suggest new ideas to enhance web content; working with the existing Web Designer and Graphics Designer to present Tensor in the best light possible.

The work will also include:

  • Monitoring the factors that influence high rankings and taking steps to keep Tensor in its current prominent position

Applicants:
You will be a sharp, self-motivated, dedicated person who wants to learn and develop their digital marketing skills. This is an ideal role for a marketer who has agency experience and is looking to take ownership of a brand’s digital presence.

  • A good understanding, knowledge and experience of SEO/SEM, social media marketing and content writing.
  • Sound knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and the factors that influence high rankings.
  • Good written English grammar skills.
  • Previous Digital Content & Social Media experience and a desire to do more in this area.
  • Experience with CMS (specifically Sanity and WordPress).
  • Good communication skills & well-written English / proofreading ability with a keen eye for detail.
  • Willing to learn about our products, speak to our customers, and develop your knowledge.
  • Adaptability and willingness for quick turnarounds.
  • Numerically proficient and able to think on their feet.

We are particularly interested in applicants with the following experience of:

  • Previous B2B experience.
  • Web development (HTML, PHP, CSS).
  • Using Moz, Mailjet and Tawk.
  • Using Adobe Photoshop (or Canva) and optimising images for social media use.
  • IT, electronics, or a similar discipline.
  • Being at ease when speaking to customers in a good telephone manner.

The Salary:
Salary is between £24,000 and £30,000 p.a. depending upon previous experience and ability. 23 days’ annual leave + Bank/Public Holidays + Company pension scheme available. Additional annual leave achievable, mobile phone, laptop. Free parking on site and a car purchase scheme is also available.
