Position: Facility Cleaner - Weekends

Reporting to: Directors/ Head of Business Operations

Overall Objective: To perform a variety of facility support duties and to carry out the cleaning functions for Macclesfield FC on Monday - Sunday - 5 days per week 7.30am to 2.30pm

Summary of role

Maintaining and carrying out cleaning for all Bar Twenty Seven and Stealth Gym, Further areas of the Stadium maybe required to be cleaned on an adhoc basis.

· Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.

· Emptying rubbish bins and wiping down communal surfaces.

· Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately.

· Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors and stairwells of various types.

· Servicing all toilets, changing rooms and re-filling paper towels, toilet rolls and hand gels.

· Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.

· Scrubbing and sanitising toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.

· Washing and drying windows where appropriate.

· Ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.

· Use of all H&S equipment and signage where relevant.

· Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.

· Informing the Head of Business Operations of repairs that need to be done.

· Liaising with any contract cleaners to ensure a smooth cleaning operation process.

Essential

· Availability to work some weekends, more so during the season

· Ability to handle equipment and machinery used in cleaning.

· Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods

· Have the drive and enthusiasm to set high standards & achieve company objectives.

· Have a personable approach.

· Knowledge and understanding to company policies/procedures and regulations relating to the role.
