Full job description

The Office Facilities Support role plays a vital part in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable office environment for all staff and visitors. Working closely with the Global Workplace Coordinator and other members of the Facilities Support team, you will ensure that all office areas and shared spaces are maintained to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness, that all facilities and cleaning equipment are properly maintained, and that stock levels of supplies and consumables are effectively monitored and replenished as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitise all work surfaces, desks, and frequently touched areas to maintain standards.
  • Mop hard floors regularly to ensure a tidy and safe workplace.
  • Empty all waste bins throughout the office.
  • Clean kitchen and break areas, including wiping down surfaces, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and maintaining general tidiness.
  • Carry out scheduled deep cleaning tasks such as cleaning appliances, meeting rooms, cloakrooms, furniture, and other high-touch areas.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or health and safety issues to the Workplace team promptly.

Key responsibilities

Cleaning & Hygiene:

  • Perform daily cleaning of office areas including workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, , corridors, and reception areas.
  • Dust, wipe, and sanitize all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Vacuum the first floor of the office & mop hard floors, and empty waste bins in all designated areas.
  • Replenish consumables such as soap and hand sanitizers as required.
  • Ensure windows, glass panels, and mirrors are kept clean and streak-free.
  • Work with the Facilities Support team to carry out scheduled deep cleaning tasks such as cleaning appliances, meeting rooms, cloakrooms, cupboards, and other high-touch areas.

Maintenance & Reporting:

  • Inspect cleaning areas regularly to identify any maintenance issues such as leaks, damaged fixtures, or safety hazards.
  • Promptly report any faults, damages, or repair needs to the Global Workplace Team

Stock & Supplies Management:

  • Support the Facilities Support team by keep accurate records of cleaning materials and supplies.
  • Safely store cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all company health and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Teamwork & Communication:

  • Liaise effectively with the Facilities team and line manager regarding cleaning schedules, issues, and improvements.
  • Support special cleaning tasks or events as required.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 13:00 – 16:00

£25,000 Pro Rata
