Nursery – Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Teddies Woking Day Nursery,

situated in Woking and is located within a 5 minute walk from the town centre which provides excellent transport links using both trains and buses. This nursery is in a local area we have the town centre with lots of coffee shops and also a lovely park which is close enough to allow staff the opportunity to make the most of their breaks. We also have the local village of Horsell just a 5 minute drive away.

The nursery is located in a converted house giving this a warm and homely feel for the children and staff alike. We have a lovely large spacious garden allowing you to extend the learning and maximise the opportunity to use the space and nature area, for staff with a love of outside play.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification

  • Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
