Full job description
An opportunity has arisen to join this highly motivated Housing repairs team, which is responsible for carrying out approximately 20,000 repairs to council properties every year.
You should have considerable experience of building maintenance in all areas of work (excluding gas, electrics and decorating works).
The ideal candidate should be competent to carry out day – day repairs and complete bathroom and kitchen refits to council properties.
If you enjoy a challenge, meeting people, being able to make a difference to the local community and being part of a successful team, this role could be for you.
Other benefits include
37-hour week, at least 24 days paid leave a year plus bank holidays, a career average earnings pension scheme, training opportunities and corporate work wear. We also provide the use of a van to travel to and from work. This position may involve participation in the out of hours call out rota.
