Join Our Culinary Team – Cook Wanted!

Location: RRH Staxton Wold – Staxton, Scarborough YO12 4TJ
Job Ref: 609193
Pay: £13.12/hour
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, (7 days over 14 including weekends))
Shifts: Between 6:30am and 18.30pm – enjoy your evenings free!


We’re hiring a Cook to join our passionate team at RRH Staxton Wold. If you’re ready to grow your culinary career with a world-leading organisation that values work-life balance, this is your chance.

What You'll Do:

  • Cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
  • Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant culinary qualification (706/1, 706/2 or equivalent).
  • Team player with effective communication skills.
  • Confident, flexible, and innovative.
  • Able to pass DBS and security vetting (UK resident for 3+ years).
