About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within various industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical installations and repairs in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and remedial work.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project success.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician in a relevant industrial setting (e.g., Petrochemical, Oil & Gas).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols (18th Edition Wiring Regulations - BS7671 / City & Guilds 2382-15).
  • Hold a valid ECS Gold Card.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving license.

Desirable Requirements:

  • COMPEX certification
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing qualification.
  • Experience with a variety of installation methods, including conduit systems and armored cables.
