Full job description

About Us

Hi there We’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we’ve only just started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company, we’re already one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups So, fancy coming along for the ride?

The Role

We're looking to hire an Amazon Marketplace Lead to join our Growth/Commercial Team. This is a pivotal role where you will take full ownership of our fast-growing global Amazon channel, treating it as your own business unit. You will be the strategic architect behind our marketplace expansion, moving us from a strong start to global dominance.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a background in consultancy and/or Amazon marketplace, who is ready to leave the corporate slide decks behind and get hands-on in a fast-paced scale-up. You are commercially savvy, data-obsessed, and looking for a role where you can hold real responsibility, manage significant budgets, and eventually build a team to launch Wild across new platforms globally.

This role reports into our US General Manager.

Please note this is a senior level position based at our London HQ.

Some of your responsibilities:

You will own the Amazon channel end-to-end, balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day execution.

Global Amazon Strategy & P&L Ownership:

  • You will take full accountability for the P&L of our Amazon channel across all global marketplaces (UK, EU, US, and beyond). You will set the strategy to drive aggressive revenue growth while maintaining healthy profitability. This includes pricing, range, advertising, operational and general commercial strategy.

Agency & Budget Management:

  • You will act as the primary lead for our external PPC and marketplace agencies. You will manage the media budget, ensuring efficient ad spend (ROAS) and holding partners accountable to strict KPIs.

Operational Excellence & Supply Chain:

  • Work closely with our Operations team to forecast demand accurately, manage inventory health (FBA), and ensure we never face stock-outs in key regions. You will troubleshoot account health issues and ensure compliance.

Content & Brand Consistency:

  • Oversee the optimization of product listings, Storefronts, and A+ content. You will ensure the Wild brand voice is just as impactful on Amazon as it is on our D2C site.

New Channel Expansion:

  • Identify, size, and launch new marketplace opportunities (e.g., retail marketplace, regional specific platforms) to diversify our revenue mix.

Team Building:

  • As the channel grows, you will have the opportunity to scope out, hire, and lead a Marketplace team to support our scaling efforts.

What we need from you:

Please note that we welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every single bullet point on the lists below - if you’re passionate about our mission and feel you have relevant skills and experiences to add value to this role, please submit an application!

  • Consultancy Background: You have 3-5+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting or a commercial management role. You are trained in structured problem solving and are looking to apply those skills in an operational "scale-up" environment.

  • Commercial Acumen: You have a strong understanding of P&L management, margins, and unit economics. You are comfortable handling large budgets and making financial decisions that impact the bottom line.

  • Data & Analytical Skills: You are an Excel/Google Sheets wizard. You can take complex data sets and turn them into actionable insights to drive growth.

  • Project & Stakeholder Management: You have excellent communication skills and can manage multiple external agencies and internal stakeholders (Ops, Marketing, Finance) simultaneously.

  • E-commerce/Amazon Knowledge: Ideally, you have exposure to Amazon Seller/Vendor Central or general e-commerce marketplaces. If not, you must be a quick learner with a fierce desire to master the platform mechanics.

  • Ambition & Drive: You are a self-starter who thrives in autonomy. You want to build something from the ground up and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty to get the job done.

  • An underlying passion for the planet and sustainability.

️What you’ll get from us:

  • 25 days holidays + bank holidays + 9 extra remote working days

  • Hybrid working, 3 days a week in our shiny new London office

  • 4% Company Pension

  • Mental well-being support through Spill

  • Private healthcare through Vitality

  • Weekly early finishes and social events

  • Annual L&D budget

  • 2 x team volunteering days and 2 x personal volunteering days

  • Free breakfast

  • Free & discounted Wild products
