Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customised Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects, utilise a broad range of programming languages and tools, and contribute to the optimisation of our customer relationship management systems. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in software development, application development, and cloud-based platforms, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and RESTful services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions to improve functionality and user experience.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices in software development.
- Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Manage version control using SVN or GitHub, ensuring seamless deployment processes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
Skills
- Proven experience in Salesforce development with a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with version control systems including SVN and Git/GitHub.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, C, VBA, SQL (including MySQL), and .NET frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for application deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs for system integration.
- Experience with Linux environments for deployment or scripting tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to develop custom solutions using VBA or other scripting languages as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for developers eager to leverage their technical expertise within a collaborative setting while contributing to innovative Salesforce solutions that drive business success.
Pay: Up to £65,000.00 per year
