Door Security – The Haworth, Hull

Join the Team at The Haworth

We're looking for professional, reliable, and customer-focused Door Security Officers to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and team.

As the first point of contact for many guests, you'll play a key role in creating a positive customer experience while ensuring the venue remains safe, secure, and compliant at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Checking customer identification and enforcing Challenge 25 procedures.
Monitoring venue entry and exit points.
Managing customer behaviour and preventing incidents.
Conducting searches where required in line with company policy.
Handling conflicts professionally and de-escalating situations.
Assisting with venue evacuations and emergency procedures.
Completing incident logs and reports accurately.
Working closely with management, bar staff, and local authorities when necessary.
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and venue policies.
Maintaining a visible and approachable presence throughout shifts.

What We're Looking For

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Previous experience in pubs, bars, nightclubs, or licensed venues preferred but not essential.
