Estimator

£30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, hybrid
Huddersfield area, West Yorkshire

A specialist manufacturer is seeking an Estimator to join an established and experienced estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

· Review and assess incoming customer enquiries

· Ensure all required information is available prior to preparing quotations

· Liaise with customers to clarify technical and commercial requirements

· Interpret architect’s drawings and bills of quantities

· Calculate costs and prepare accurate quotations

· Maintain accurate enquiry and quotation records

· Follow up quotations and monitor outcomes

· Process customer orders once quotations are accepted

Experience required:

· Experience within construction, manufacturing, building, or joinery sectors

· Previous experience in an Estimator or Quantity Surveying role or similar

· Strong IT and numerical skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Confident communicator who works well within a team
