Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating and supporting students in their academic journey. This role involves working closely with children to enhance their learning experience, particularly in subjects where they may require additional assistance. A background in special education is advantageous, as we aim to cater to diverse learning needs. Tuition is to be delivered either at the centre in Culcheth, in in the local community or students homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. The sessions can take place in local libraries or the student's home.
- Must have QTS.
- Familiarity with special education practices and techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and their families.
- A genuine passion for educating and empowering young learners.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Communicate effectively with students to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Support students with special educational needs by employing appropriate strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
