Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant with some previous optical experience to join our professional team. This role involves confidently welcoming and helping patients as they walk through our doors, supporting optometrists in delivering high-quality eye care services and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their career within the optical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting optometrists during eye examinations and vision tests, including pre-testing
  • Assisting customers in selecting suitable frames and lenses, offering expert advice on styles and features
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing queries and ensuring patient satisfaction

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst also demonstrating initiative
