Full job description

We are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist who would be happy to upskill and because a HCA

The candidate should be fully qualified in phlebotomy with a minimum of one years experience.

Some of the day to day tasks will include:

- Phlebotomy

· Enabling the smooth running of clinics

· The ordering, monitoring and maintenance of stock and equipment including refrigeration

· Assisting the Practice team with maintaining and adhering to high standards of infection control

· Being involved in recall systems to support the routine monitoring and management of patients’ health including computer- based searches

Lapworth Surgery is a GP Practice with a population of around 3000 patients. We are a friendly team all working together to provide excellent health care for our patients and a supportive and caring working environment for our staff. We are a two partner GP surgery and have a practice Nurse and also a very good admin/reception team including a dispensary.

If you would love to work within our experienced friendly team the core days will be a Tuesday all day and a Thursday morning with the view to cover some extra hours when our nurse is on leave or off sick.
