Email Marketing Specialist

Basic Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE

Company Description

Jolly Media Marketing LTD are a digital marketing agency who specialise in supporting renewables companies across the UK as well as mergers & acquisitions specialists, primarily with lead generation. The company is based in Tannochside in Scotland but we now serve clients all over the UK and some in the middle east. Our primary service offerings currently are Social media ads management and email marketing. This involves us setting up, managing and maintaining paid ads (typically on social media platforms like Facebook & Instagram) as well as managing email marketing campaigns for our clients which help them win more business and find new businesses to buy. We utilise our email marketing to attain more high ticket B2B opportunities which we then share with our high value clients.

Role Description (Full Training Provided)

This is a full time opportunity, our core hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and we close every Scottish bank holiday. You will be trained in our head office based in Tannochside, Uddingston initially then can work from home for up to 40% of your week once your probationary term has been successfully completed.

Main duties will include:

  • Plan and deliver cold outbound email campaigns that nurture prospects from cold traffic to interested opportunities
  • Utilising our email marketing software (Instantly.ai) to build out and optimise ongoing email marketing campaigns
  • Communicate and work with clients to identify sectors and decision maker titles we can target with our cold prospecting campaigns.
  • Create and manage highly targeted B2B email lists utilising tools such as apollo
  • Develop high converting email copy using personalisation
  • Maintain data integrity, storing and governing as appropriate, ensuring full GDPR regulations are adhered to.
  • Use A/B split testing, data segmentation and performance data to continuously improve campaign outcomes.
  • Drive results with data:analyse performance, identify trends & deliver actionable insights to improve ROI.
  • Develop strategic campaign calendars aligned with key business stakeholder requirements.
  • Act as a strategic partner to multiple different customers including Jolly Media Marketing, Jolly Media Marketing Clients and other group owned interests.
  • Ensure all interested Directors are apprised of the ongoing cost envelope of the execution of our email strategies, including where possible a clear ROI being shared.
  • Work with the Directors to continually review and improve our email marketing strategies.
  • Any other reasonable task requested by Directors to drive the business forward.

*Full training is of course provided on all of the above

Required Experience

  • Strong experience managing email marketing campaigns in a fast paced environment like an agency
  • Must have experience using our preferred email marketing software: Instantly.ai
  • An outstanding copy writer, understanding how to craft personalised, compelling messages which initiate customer interest in high ticket offers
  • Robust understand of spintax and other methods that protect inbox health score/drive an enhanced level of inbox deliverability
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal for telephone calls with clients/colleagues and written across emails, socials, whatsapp etc
  • Growth mindset, always looking to learn and drive yourself forward to improve your offering as a team member
  • Proficient in utilisation of a CRM system, manipulating data and reporting to senior colleagues when required
  • Proficient in the use of IT equipment, laptop/desktop, tablet, Google/Word packages and general software solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage and manipulate data, ensuring our campaigns are maximised in terms of ROI with the data we have available to us
  • Knowledge of GDPR requirements and data privacy practises including the best way to manipulate and store data safely
  • Demonstrable experience of being a real team player and a love of collaboration to improve your contribution to the team
  • A real hunger for improving the business and the service to our customers
