Intertechnic Logistics is a leading automotive logistics provider established in 2009. We manage the movement of approximately 4,500 vehicles monthly for major clients in the leasing, rental, and accident replacement industries. Due to increasing demand, we are seeking an experienced Vehicle Logistics Planner to join our team at our Blisworth office.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be a key member of the Planning team, responsible for the efficient coordination of vehicle movements using trade plates. Your primary goal is to maximise route efficiency and cost control while ensuring vehicles are handpicked and delivered within our Customer SLA’s.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Designing driver routes to maximise daily efficiency and control costs.
• Dynamic Problem Solving: Adapting plans quickly to handle requests, changes, or unforeseen challenges.
• Communication: Notifying the Customer Service team regarding any late arrivals or operational shifts.
• Relationship Building: Developing strong professional links within the wider transport and operations teams.
• On-Call Support: Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota system.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in logistics or transport planning.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the automotive logistics sector is essential.
• Skills: Strong IT literacy, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for frequent driver and team liaison.
• Attitude: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a genuine passion for the logistics industry

Package & Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 per annum
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 am – 6 pm.
• Holidays: 23 days annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays.
• Location: Based at our scenic office at Blisworth Hill Farm, Northampton

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
