Business Administration & Customer Service Apprentice

About the Company

We are a well-established, independently owned vehicle rental provider operating across the North West of England. With multiple locations and a strong reputation for customer service, we specialise in flexible short- and long-term car and van hire solutions.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Business Administration & Customer Service Apprentice to join our expanding team.

The Role

This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in business administration and customer service within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in front-of-house operations, administration, and customer support while working towards a recognised qualification. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality customer experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle return.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Support vehicle bookings, contracts, and rental documentation
  • Process payments and maintain accurate customer records
  • Assist with vehicle scheduling and availability management
  • Resolve customer queries and issues in a professional manner
  • Carry out general administrative duties (filing, data entry, system updates)
  • Support marketing and promotional activities as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards

Requirements

  • Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic IT proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office, email systems, data entry)
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (preferred but not essential)

A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not required.
