Paramedic (NHS GP Practice)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paramedic to join our friendly NHS GP practice team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a primary care setting, providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Run triage clinics, assessing and managing patients independently where appropriate.
• Take comprehensive patient histories and perform clinical assessments.
• Resolve minor issues independently or escalate to the on-site GP for complex cases.
• Care navigate patients to appropriate services such as Pharmacy First, community services, or secondary care.
• Conduct independent home visits, with support from the on-site GP when required.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to NHS policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Paramedic.
• Previous experience in primary care or urgent care settings is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work between 08:00 – 18:30.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
