ABOUT US

We are building and scaling a portfolio of consumer brands across large global FMCG categories. Current and upcoming brands include Roomie in home care and household, Matcha in food and beverage, and additional brands across beauty, health and wellness, pet care and other consumer categories.

Our team has experience taking brands from launch into major international retail. We are now building a larger multi-brand retail platform across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other international markets.

THIS IS A HUNTER ROLE. The goal is simple: get meetings with the right buyers, win listings, grow store count and turn retailer conversations into purchase orders.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will own new retail business development across the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for building the pipeline, getting in front of category buyers, pitching multiple brands and taking opportunities from first contact through to listing and launch.

Your focus will be opening major grocery, pharmacy, mass, home, department, specialty and other relevant retailers across the UK, while supporting national accounts where ownership sits in your territory.

You will work directly with the Head of Global Retail, fully supported by our in-house design team for rapid-turnaround presentation creatives, dedicated marketing support, and proficient logistics teams to ensure seamless commercial execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build a targeted account list for each brand and identify the highest-value retail opportunities.
  • Find the relevant category buyers, decision-makers and retail executives.
  • Prospect through email, LinkedIn, phone, industry relationships, brokers, distributors and trade events.
  • Secure buyer meetings and present compelling category, product and commercial pitches.
  • Take opportunities from first conversation through range review, negotiation, listing, purchase order and launch.
  • Own follow-up relentlessly and keep opportunities moving through the pipeline.
  • Grow successful accounts into additional SKUs, categories, doors and banners.
  • Track retailer activity, next steps, probability, store count, launch timing and forecast revenue.
  • Feed buyer and market insights back into product, pricing, packaging and new-brand development.
  • Travel regularly for buyer meetings, line reviews, retail visits and trade events.

HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED

  • Qualified buyer meetings secured
  • New retailer accounts opened
  • Listings and SKUs achieved
  • Store count secured
  • Purchase orders and revenue generated
  • Expansion within existing retailers
  • Strength and conversion of the forward retail pipeline
  • Speed of opportunity progression

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven FMCG, consumer goods, retail sales or business development experience.
  • Experience dealing directly with retail buyers and commercial decision-makers.
  • A genuine new-business hunter who is comfortable opening doors from scratch.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Persistent follow-up and a bias toward action.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple brands, categories and opportunities at once.
  • Comfortable working to hard commercial KPIs and being measured on outcomes.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly across the territory.
  • Exceptional self-drive, discipline, and personal accountability to thrive in a role with a high degree of autonomy.

RELEVANT CATEGORY BACKGROUNDS

We are particularly interested in candidates from home care, household, grocery, beverage, food, health and wellness, pet, beauty, personal care or other high-volume consumer categories.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Help us build market distribution for an ever-evolving portfolio of brands and product categories. If you thrive on identifying white space, opening new accounts, and driving tangible growth, this role provides far more freedom and upside than managing a single mature brand.

Fast-Track Execution & True Ownership: You will not be slowed down by legacy corporate bureaucracy or lengthy approval chains. A product can start with our team and rapidly end up in thousands of stores across the country.

Career Expansion Path: As portfolio revenue grows across European markets, top performers will have the opportunity to build and lead regional or national sales teams.

PACKAGE

£100,000 Total Fixed Package + OTE £130,000 (Uncapped Performance Bonus)

Package includes competitive base salary, car allowance, 10% employer pension match, and comprehensive private medical cover. Uncapped performance bonus is tied directly to commercial outcomes including listings, door expansion, store count, and revenue targets. Contractual breakdown is discussed during the recruitment process.

Pay: £100,000.00 per year
