Full job description

Sales Executive – Education & Events (UK)

Locker Space

Locker Space supplies self-funding lockers and phone-free solutions to schools, colleges, and event venues across the UK. We’re growing steadily and looking for a sales person who can help us scale properly in 2026.

This is not a “spray and pray” sales role. It’s about talking to the right people, understanding how schools and venues actually make decisions, and closing sensible deals that work for everyone.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Generating and qualifying new leads (schools, colleges, venues, councils)
  • Booking and running discovery calls
  • Managing a clear pipeline from first contact to signed agreement
  • Following up properly (yes, this matters more than people admit)
  • Working closely with the founder to refine messaging and pricing
  • Keeping CRM notes tidy and honest

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in B2B sales (education or public sector is a big plus)
  • Comfortable dealing with longish sales cycles and decision committees
  • Confident communicator who doesn’t oversell or waffle
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work without being micromanaged
  • UK-based, with the ability to travel occasionally if needed

What this is not

  • Not a call-centre role
  • Not commission-only “hustle culture” nonsense
  • Not a corporate ladder climb

The package

  • Base salary + commission (details depend on experience)
  • Flexible working
  • Real autonomy and influence in a growing business
  • Products that schools genuinely need and budgets can support

Why Locker Space?

We’ve been operating for years, not months. Our products are already installed in schools. Parents pay, schools don’t. It’s a model that makes sense and sells well when explained properly.

If you’re good at sales and tired of selling rubbish, this will suit you.

Interested?
