You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the Growth and Business Excellence teams, supporting the end-to-end proposal process and helping to deliver submissions that truly stand out. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-driven, organised, and enjoys bringing ideas to life through words, visuals, and storytelling.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible start/finish times)
Location: Head Office – 20 Red Lion Street (minimum 3 days per week)
Salary: £32,000–£38,000 (dependent on experience)

What will you get?

Financial freedom: Enjoy exclusive travel and grocery discounts, plus life assurance and cash rewards!

Secure your future: Benefit from a contributory pension scheme for a stable financial tomorrow.

Health matters: Access wellness programmes, an Employee Assistance Programme, and digital GP services for holistic support.

Thrive personally & professionally: Unlock learning and development opportunities to grow your career with a people-first organisation.

Celebrate excellence: Recognise and be recognised through our WOW! Awards and Rapport Excellence Awards.

Give back to community: Take one paid day off each year to volunteer for a cause close to your heart.

Main responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete RFI/RFP and PQQ submissions, tailoring responses to reflect each client’s needs and brand.

  • Support bid kick-off meetings, manage timelines, and ensure all deadlines and quality standards are met.

  • Develop compelling written content that showcases Rapport’s warmth, innovation, and service excellence.

  • Collaborate with design, operations, and subject matter experts to produce engaging, client-focused proposals.

  • Maintain and update a library of case studies, testimonials, and best practice examples to strengthen future bids.

  • Assist in the creation of presentations and marketing materials for client meetings and events.

  • Track opportunities, maintain reporting systems, and support process improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to internal communications by sharing updates and celebrating successes across the wider team.

The ideal candidate will
  • Share our Rapport values: Create Rapport, Be Brilliant, Innovative Spirit, Walk Tall, Stronger Together.

  • Have exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to tailor tone and content to different audiences.

  • Be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.

  • Show a strong eye for detail, presentation, and design.

  • Be a collaborative team player who brings ideas and energy to every project.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (and ideally have a flair for layout or design tools).
