YMCA Worcestershire are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work nights at one of our supported accommodation site in Worcester.

We have a part-time position available - 20 hours a week (2 x 10 hour shifts).

You would be vital in ensuring the vulnerable young people we house are supported and can move towards independence.

- To effectively manage challenging behaviour and disputes between residents, ensuring the project remains a peaceful environment for our young people.

- To perform admin tasks as required, including accurate record keeping, completion of handover documents and keeping on top of emails.

- To prioritise the safeguarding of our young people to ensure they are kept safe from abuse and harm.

- To provide support and advice for our young people regarding matters such as health and wellbeing, housing, employment, education and training.

- To understand the impact of trauma on our young people and work in a trauma-informed way.

- To be aware of and work with partner agencies to ensure the best support is in place for our young people.

- To attend appraisals, supervision and complete any relevant training to ensure your continued professional development.
