As part of this growth, KNC continues to expand its production operations, with multi-site production and a rapidly expanding supplier base for raw materials. As a result of this rapidly developing operational coverage, we have an emerging need to define, develop and manage improved management information and reporting systems associated with operational performance from our supplier and processor network.

The role:
This is an exciting role, combining analysis of production, productivity and yield information, data management and the design of reporting systems, as well as compiling and presenting insights to senior management to ensure suppliers and processors are operating to their contracted performance and KPI standards. You will have an eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies, a creative approach to problem-solving and improving reporting systems, and be comfortable working in an exciting and rapidly changing business environment.
The role will report to the Supply Chain Director, be home-based or office-based in Kendal, Cumbria, with regular travel to sites, and with occasional international travel anticipated.
What you’ll need:
Technical, Analytical and Presentation Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, ideally also with experience of data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess production, productivity, and yield performance.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear reports.
- Statistical and quantitative analysis skills for performance tracking and forecasting. Experience in designing and developing management information systems and dashboards would be advantageous
- Familiarity with supply chain operations and performance metrics (e.g., KPIs, SLAs).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting insights to senior management.
- Confidence in leading discussions with stakeholders across various levels, including suppliers and internal teams.
Supply Chain and Operational Knowledge:
- Understanding of multi-site production and supplier network management.
- Experience in monitoring supplier and processor performance against contracts and KPIs.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier relations.
- Familiarity with productivity optimization and operational efficiency principles.
Project Management and Organization:
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong organizational skills to streamline data management and reporting processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the nutrition, food production, or manufacturing industry.
