Full job description

This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for students, or anyone looking for weekend and school holiday work. This role is until the end of October 2026.

You will work across two food outlets:

  • A main café serving hot food, drinks, and lunch items
  • A kiosk offering quick snacks and drinks to visitors around the park

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all guests
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain a positive, energetic attitude during busy periods

Food & Drink Service

  • Serve pre-prepared food items (e.g. sausage rolls, cakes, snacks)
  • Prepare hot drinks using our coffee machine (full training provided)
  • Handle payments accurately (card and cash)

Speed & Efficiency

  • Work as part of a team to keep queues moving
  • Follow simple systems designed for fast service
  • Stay focused and organised during peak times

Stock & Cleanliness

  • Keep counters clean, tidy, and well stocked
  • Refill displays and fridges as needed
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Teamwork

  • Support colleagues across both the café and kiosk
  • Be flexible in your role depending on demand
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members

Working Pattern

  • Flexible hours (primarily weekends and school holidays)
  • Additional hours available during peak season
  • Shifts typically between 9am – 5pm
