We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with established schedules and standards.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces, including floors, windows, and furniture.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored correctly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team.
• Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Maintain an organised storage area for cleaning supplies.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve a clean and welcoming environment.
• Recording fire tests, fire door checks and any other compliance testing: training will be provided)

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Previous experience in carrying our other duties such as, caretaking, painting, jetwashing, bin store maintenance.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ideal candiate

- Previous experience with handyman jobs, who as well as cleaning can also do painting, jetwashing, bin store maintenance.

- Understanding of residential apartment blocks.

The candidate would need to travel to various residential blocks around the midlands mainly Leicester which will be scheduled.

Fuel allowance will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
