Full job description

Aunties Doggie Franchise is a multi-award winning business with knowledgeable friendly staff, quality products that last and the best animal welfare policies in the industry.

We are looking for a full time dog handler to work in our Daycare. Experience not essential.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· To assist in handling of dogs upon drop off and collection by customers

· To take payments from customers for Daycare and other purchases

· To assist with the care and supervision of all dogs in the care of the business. Primarily with

dogs attending Daycare and all the duties that this involves.

· To carry out daily activities with the dogs and to be proactive in creating new activities to

enrich their time in Daycare.

· To assist in the retail business serving customers and helping in the shop

· To assist in cleaning duties that arise on a daily basis

· To cover for illness and holidays at other times of the day in addition to contracted hours

when need arises (hours of business are 7.00am to 6.30pm Mon-Fri)

· To cover any other extra hours as and when the business requires.

· Any such general duties that may be required.

Experience

Experience of working with dogs and/or other animals is an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will have experience of working as part of a team in a busy working environment.

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
