Assistant Manager Production & Dispatch

The role's primary purpose is to guide a team of staff, dealing with all aspects of Food production and dispatch on a day-to-day basis to ensure customer service and high-quality standards are achieved.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Manager Production & Dispatch will include:

Managing staff in a team as team leader on the shift. Assisting the Chefs and production Kitchen through attaining various accreditation schemes and maintaining these through frequent audits.

Assistanting operations manager with KPI and P&L.

Leading the team in the production of safe food production. Must have Knowledge and experience in developing and following standard protocols. Advantages to having Working knowledge of domestic legislation to ensure that the food production & packing staff are fully compliant.

This job involves a 5-day a week rotation that includes weekends.

Dealing with regulatory bodies, both during the day-to-day operations as well as during announced and unannounced audits. The Assistant Manager Production & Dispatch will perform additional duties as directed from time to time by the Line Manager.
