Job Title: Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Salary: up to £35,000 Basic, OTE £80,000 - £100,000

Location: Basildon

Swarm Recruitment is working with a directly authorised, well-established & growing mortgage firm looking to expand their team. Our clients are a dynamic and client-focused financial services provider dedicated to helping clients achieve their property and protection goals. They pride themselves on delivering tailored financial advice with integrity and professionalism.

Due to growth and an influx of strong leads, they are now looking for an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser to go the extra mile and service these clients. They are a directly authorised firm with a strong in-house administration team, to help the advisers from start to finish.

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary – £25,000 - £35,000
• OTE - £80,000 - £100,000

Working Hours:

• Standard hours of 9am-5:30pm (Flexibility required for clients) Monday – Friday
• 1 Saturday a month (Can be negotiable based on performance)

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser
• Fully CeMap qualified or equivalent qualifications
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivated to succeed and provide outstanding client support

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Engage with customers face-to-face and over the phone
• Provide expert advice to clients on a range of mortgage and protection products.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and insurers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest mortgage and protection regulations.
