Full job description

We are looking for Seasonal Nursery Operatives to join our team during the busy spring and summer period at our plant nursery.

This is a hands-on role working across both the nursery and warehouse, helping to prepare and dispatch plant orders. Please note we have multiple sites across Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and selecting plant stock for customer orders
  • Checking orders for accuracy and labelling correctly
  • Preparing plants for packing and dispatch
  • Packing orders within the warehouse
  • General nursery duties, including watering and plant maintenance

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Previous plant knowledge is not essential, but an interest in horticulture would be an advantage.

Working Hours & Pay:

  • Flexible working hours available
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Competitive rates of pay
