Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in landscape maintenance and a love for the outdoors. This role involves caring for various garden areas, ensuring they are well-maintained and thriving. The Gardener will work with both hand tools and power tools to perform a variety of tasks, including planting, pruning, and irrigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas by performing regular landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and pruning.
• Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering techniques are employed to promote healthy growth.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks.
• Assist in the planting of new flowers, shrubs, and trees, ensuring proper planting techniques are followed.
• Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases that may affect growth.
• Keep grounds clean and tidy, including the removal of debris and litter from garden areas.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and implement garden designs that enhance the overall aesthetic.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in gardening or groundskeeping is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is an advantage.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering.
• Ability to operate various power tools safely; training may be provided if necessary.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for growing plants and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to gardening.
