Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our clients gardens. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong knowledge of gardening techniques and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

Duties

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, strimming, weeding, leaf clearing, hedge trimming, pruning, mulching, feeding, planting and watering.
  • Suggest and plant new plants, trees and shrubs.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools to complete gardening tasks
  • Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases
  • Assist with landscape installation projects
  • Keep garden areas clean and free of debris
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall cleanliness and attractiveness of the property

Skills

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, etc.
  • Experience using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
  • Strong understanding of gardening principles and techniques
  • Familiarity with different types of plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
