The opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Netball Coach to join our thriving Sports Performance Academy. This is a self-employed position, and the successful candidate will invoice the College directly for their services. A formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be issued prior to the start date.

We are looking for someone with the experience and drive to support the delivery of our college netball programme and contribute positively to the student experience.

An enhanced DBS check is essential for this role. If you do not currently have a DBS registered on the update service, the College will fund and support the application process.

The College prides itself on having supportive, reflective, creative, and ambitious staff who work together to achieve the best outcomes for students. We treat our staff and students with respect, listen to both, and involve all in our continuous improvement. Staff and student feedback are embedded within our systems.

The person

We are looking to recruit the right person, and for us, attitude, values, and mindset are just as important as experience. We value staff who bring their authentic selves to their work, contribute positively to our culture, and engage fully in college life.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and accomplished sportsperson, with energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for inspiring young people within a thriving sporting department. Experience in coaching netball is essential.

A Level 1 (or higher) Netball Coaching Qualification is desirable, as is a Netball Umpiring Qualification.
