Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated clinician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a supportive environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in healthcare, contribute meaningfully to patient wellbeing, and work alongside experienced medical professionals.

As a clinical research assistant you will draw upon your expertise that you bring across your clinical discipline. You will join a clinical research team comprising of 9 staff members including doctors ,nurses, pharmacists and research assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
  • Competent in Phlebotomy
  • Competent in ECG
  • Proficient with the use of a computer.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and hygiene standards
  • Help with documentation of key events and data entry.
  • Booking in patients for appointments.
  • Liaising with the Clinical Research Team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience or training in patient care is essential; relevant qualifications or certifications are required
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and basic medical terminology is desirable
  • Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Organised approach with attention to detail in record keeping and patient monitoring
  • A recognised qualification in healthcare support or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £26,000.00-£26,001.00 per year
