About Us

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at our Raynes Park Clinic, Wimbledon as a Healthcare Assistant supporting patients across their fertility journey with empathy, professionalism and care.

We are part of a leading international group of fertility specialists, including CREATE Fertility and IVI London, providing world-class reproductive healthcare across the UK.

Our clinics are at the forefront of innovation, offering Natural and Mild IVF alongside a full range of advanced fertility treatments including IVF, IUI, ICSI and fertility preservation.

We are committed to evidence-based treatment, innovation and personalised, patient-focused care.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a part-time Healthcare Assistant / Phlebotomist to support our expanding fertility services in Nottingham.

Please note the salary will be £18,480 based on a £30,800 Full Time Equivalent salary

Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8am-5pm (24hrs per week)

This role would suit someone with previous experience in private healthcare, fertility, gynaecology outpatients, theatre, recovery, phlebotomy or another healthcare setting. Experience in fertility is advantageous, but not essential, as full support and guidance will be provided.

Previous HCA and Phlebotomy experience is a must

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within the growing field of fertility and IVF.

Key duties will include:

  • Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Phlebotomy and basic clinical observations
  • Chaperoning patients during consultations and procedures
  • Assisting with diagnostic procedures
  • Supporting clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic
  • Helping to maintain a safe, professional and patient-focused environment
  • Working closely with the nursing, medical and wider clinic team

Our clinics operate across a 7-day service, with weekend work scheduled on a rota basis, so some flexibility will be required.

We welcome and encourage flexible working requests and are open to discussing working patterns that may support candidates with family or caring responsibilities, including parents seeking hours that work around school commitments, subject to clinic needs and in line with UK flexible working legislation.

About You

We are looking for someone who is caring, organised and professional, with a genuine interest in supporting patients.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare, fertility, outpatient, theatre, recovery or clinical support setting
  • Phlebotomy experience, or willingness to develop this skill
  • A caring and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • A flexible and reliable approach to working patterns
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality

Benefits

Our benefits package includes:

  • 25 days’ annual leave, pro-rated, plus a day off for your birthday
  • Additional annual leave for each completed year of service, up to 30 days
  • Private healthcare
  • Life assurance, 4x salary
  • Pension scheme
  • Perkbox employee benefits platform
  • Season ticket loan
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Discounted IVF treatment after two years’ service

Employment is subject to satisfactory references, right to work checks and confirmation of eligibility to work in the UK.

Due to the nature of this role, a DBS check will be required.
