Brite Dental Bridge of Weir & Houston is seeking a Dental Receptionist who is a fully qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse. This is a reception-only role and does not involve routine chairside nursing.

The role is central to the smooth running of a busy private practice, requiring strong organisation, excellent communication, and confidence with systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front desk reception, patient check-in/out, calls and emails
  • Managing diaries, appointments, reminders, cancellations and short notice gaps
  • Taking deposits and payments, daily cashing up and banking preparation
  • Maintaining reception systems, spreadsheets, and daily reports
  • Managing voicemails, task lists, and internal communications
  • Preparing daily paperwork, lab work logs, and surgery checklists
  • Maintaining patient areas and reception presentation
  • Completing end-of-day close-down procedures

Requirements

  • Fully qualified, GDC registered Dental Nurse
  • Strong IT, organisational and multitasking skills
  • Professional, friendly communication style
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced private practice
