Full job description

We are looking to recruit a friendly, part-time receptionist/administrator to join our experienced reception team for 29.5 hours per week over 4 days, no weekend working. We are a well-established specialist orthodontic practice based in Westbourne, Bournemouth.

The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong IT skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deliver an exceptionally high standard of patient care. Previous dental or orthodontic reception experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Your role will involve covering the reception desk and providing administrative support to the clinical and management team, liaising with colleagues and facilitating an overall smooth and efficient patient experience.

Tasks will include responding to patient calls, emails and enquiries, scheduling appointments and organising clinics, patient administration, data input, processing NHS and private referrals and administration of patient finances.

We are looking for:

· Dental/medical administration experience

· Ability to learn various practice management software systems

· Excellent attention to detail & flexibility around working hours

· Experience in prioritising and multi-tasking while working in a busy office

· Kind, courteous and conscientious manner

Working hours:

Monday & Tuesday 08:30 - 18:00, Thursday 14:00 - 18:00, Friday 08:30 - 18:00.
