About the role
With around 1,300 employees working across an exceptionally diverse range of professions, locations and working environments, the Royal Household is a unique organisation. From supporting the Sovereign's service to the UK and the Commonwealth to welcoming visitors to the Royal residences, our people contribute to work with a distinctive and far-reaching purpose.
Effective HR technology is essential to supporting this varied workforce. As HR Systems Analyst, you will ensure that our HR, payroll and recruitment systems are reliable, effective and easy to use, helping employees, managers and HR colleagues access the services and information they need.
The breadth of the organisation creates distinctive systems, data and user challenges. You will work across complex processes and varied operational needs, using technology and insight to improve services and deliver a better user experience.
This is an exciting time to join us. As we prepare to introduce new HR and recruitment platforms, you will help shape future processes, strengthen our use of people data and ensure we gain the greatest value from our investment in technology.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation of our HR, payroll and recruitment systems, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and responsive to organisational needs.
Act as the subject matter expert and lead super user, resolving complex queries and working with suppliers and Digital Services to address technical issues and maintain system performance.
Lead the technical delivery of system enhancements, upgrades and releases, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation and user adoption.
Improve processes and the user experience by identifying opportunities to expand self-service, make better use of existing functionality and introduce appropriate automation.
Protect the quality, integrity and security of employee data through effective controls, regular audits and compliance with GDPR, organisational policies and data governance standards.
Develop reports, dashboards and workforce insights that help stakeholders understand people trends and make well-informed decisions.
Build confidence and capability among system users by producing clear guidance, maintaining system documentation and delivering training.
Help shape future HR technology, supporting system procurement and implementation, data preparation, integrations, testing and transition to business as usual.
You will join a collaborative and supportive HR team at a point of significant change and investment. This is an opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, contribute to meaningful transformation and deliver improvements that will be experienced by employees, managers and HR colleagues across the organisation.
