Location: Field-based role UK Wide (based in London and the South East)
Salary: £28,000-£30,000 + Excellent Overtime Opportunities + Company Vehicle

Join Our Specialist Heat Treatment Team

Merlin Environmental Solutions Ltd is a leading commercial pest control company, specialising in thermal pest control solutions across the UK. We're looking for a Heat Technician to join our specialist team and deliver effective pest control treatments using heat technology.

You'll be home-based in the South East area but will travel across the UK to carry out heat treatments, tackling pest problems with specialist equipment whilst building expertise in this growing field.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate heat treatment equipment – Use specialist systems to eliminate insect infestations
  • Assess sites and plan treatments – Survey locations and create effective treatment plans
  • Travel across the UK – Work on heat treatment projects across the UK
  • Maintain safety standards – Follow all health & safety and COSHH requirements
  • Report to clients – Complete detailed reports and communicate results professionally
  • Support the team – Help with general pest control services when needed

Who We're Looking For

  • Pest control experience with interest in heat treatment work (heat treatment background preferred)
  • Professional approach – Methodical, detail-focused, and reliable
  • Full clean UK driving licence – Essential for UK-wide travel from your home base
  • Good communication skills – Confident with customers and professional manner
  • Independent worker – Comfortable working alone across different locations
