Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime may be required and on call duties on a rota basis.

Salary: basic salary + premium payments for on call duties and overtime, Performance Bonus.

Location: Wakefield and surrounding area.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate must be:

  • Able to lift large, bulky items;
  • Adaptable, with flexible approach to work;
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Able to communicate professionally, accurately and clearly, both orally and in writing; will be required to use a smart phone /PDA device to enter information regarding the works they carry out;
  • Have a valid UK manual driver’s license without any points/endorsements relating to drink, drug driving or driving without insurance, satisfactory references and right to work in the UK.

Job Purpose

  • Clearance work of general litter and hazardous waste (not including asbestos);
  • Final/sparkle cleaning, full/deep cleaning, environmental cleans;
  • Garden work, general garden tidying, trimming, grass cutting, removal of green waste, removal of rubble and free-standing garden buildings;
  • Completion of risk assessments of each job;
  • Driving company vehicles to and from sites, also to recycling centres ;
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations;

You will be trained and developed over time to fulfill a whole range of duties in line with all the services we offer, which could include fitting steel, responding to mobile alarms, mold eradication, pest control and any other services from our diverse client base.

Appointment to this position will be subject to a DBS check and holding a full drivers licence (Max 6 points). Company vehicle provided.
