Copley Pest Solutions have an excellent opportunity for a Pest Control Technician to join our team, working around the West Yorkshire area predominantly. Also helping the team in other areas around the North of England when required. Experience within this field is required, we also provide an excellent training programme for candidates to grow and progress in the company.

You’ll be on the road in your own company van to service both commercial and residential properties. You will be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises. A commission scheme within the company of 5% of any new business will provide you with unlimited earning potential for a motivated person.

Main duties

• Inspect customer premises and provide written reports on levels of pest infestation to determine the most effective solution to eradicate the pests
• Treatments using pesticides to control pests, proofing properties, working on solar panel and bird proofing jobs, loft clearances, drain inspections.
• Record all visits to customers on a brand new custom-built platform to put the company at the forefront of technology in the industry.
• Any other “ad hoc” duties as required by the needs of the business

Essential criteria

• Full Clean UK Drivers Licence
• Great communication and customer service
• Handy with tools and different building materials
• Live within a 20-mile radius of the area advertised
• The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
• To be methodical and systematic in your approach to work.
• Have excellent attention to detail
• To be progressive and want to grow with the company
• Excellent work ethic

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

OTE: £30,000.00 - £40,000.00 - Unlimited potential for a motivated individual.

• 10 Hour shift, Overtime available, Weekend Rota

Experience:

• pest control: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• RSPH Level 2 Certificate (preferred)
• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
