Hours: 28 Hours per week (4 days - Monday–Thursday)
Start date: Week beginning 18th August 2026

Job Description and Overview
We are the leading integrated health and wellness practice specialising in holistic and functional medicine. We’re seeking a professional and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service while managing the daily administrative flow of the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and ensure a calm, friendly, and professional atmosphere
  • Manage bookings, schedules, and follow-up communications
  • Handle calls, emails, and messages with professionalism and care
  • Maintain accurate client files and confidential records
  • Support practitioners with preparation of files, supplements, and test kits
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Keep the reception and communal areas tidy and inviting
  • Monitor stock levels of clinic essentials and assist with ordering

This role involves both administrative and client-facing tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work in a supportive environment.

Experience & Qualifications

  • As this is a client-facing role, clear and thoughtful communication — both spoken and written — is essential for building trust and understanding.
  • Applicants should have proven experience working in a reception or administrative role and be confident managing multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • GCSEs and A Levels (or equivalent qualifications) required
  • Experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is desirable
  • Confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
  • Warm, organised, and proactive, with excellent communication skills
  • Genuine interest in holistic, integrated, and functional medicine

We're not simply looking for someone to answer phones or manage a diary—we're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, compassionate, and takes genuine ownership of their work. We believe exceptional patient care starts with attention to detail. To demonstrate this, please begin your answer to the final screening question with the single word you feel best describes you and end your answer by telling us your favourite book.

If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference, enjoy being part of a supportive and ambitious team, and take pride in delivering an exceptional experience for every patient, we'd love to hear from you.
