Freelance Trainers & Tutors – (with LANTRA, EUSR, NPORS, CPCS, NRSWA, SIA or other)

ETS is a growing training provider delivering employability and vocational programmes across the UK. We work with Jobcentre Plus, prisons, probation services, local authorities and employers, helping people gain the skills, qualifications and confidence they need to move into sustainable employment. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our network of experienced freelance trainers, tutors and assessors.

We're looking for trainers in:

  • SIA – Door Supervisor, Security Guarding, CCTV
  • EUSR - CAT & Genny equipment (Category 1) and implementing safe digging and excavation practices (Category 2)
  • CABWI - Water & utilities
  • Lantra - Traffic management
  • NRSWA - Street works
  • Construction – CPCS, NPORS, CSCS, CITB
  • Agrifood / Agritech
  • Warehousing & Logistics
  • Health & Social Care
  • Customer Service / Retail
  • Hospitality
  • Other vocational and sector-based programmes

We are especially interested in trainers with prison vetting, however you could be training in a prison or a community environment.

What you'll be doing

You'll deliver engaging, high-quality training to adult learners and NEETs from a wide range of backgrounds. We're looking for trainers who can do more than deliver a qualification. You need to be able to engage learners, build confidence and help people see a genuine route into employment. You'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging classroom and/or practical training
  • Preparing learners for qualifications and assessments
  • Maintaining excellent learner engagement
  • Completing course and assessment paperwork accurately and on time
  • Meeting awarding organisation and compliance requirements
  • Supporting learners to develop confidence and work-readiness
  • Working closely with the wider ETS team
  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professionalism

What we're looking for

You'll need:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Teaching Learning & Assessment (AET)
  • Relevant trainer, industry and/or assessor qualifications
  • Experience delivering adult, NEET or vocational training
  • Strong occupational experience in your specialist area
  • Excellent communication and learner engagement skills
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A commitment to quality and learner outcomes
  • Willingness to travel for delivery

Experience delivering DWP-funded programmes, Skills Bootcamps, prison education or employability provision would be an advantage. For specialist programmes such as SIA, EUSR, LANTRA, CABWI, CPCS, NPORS or CITB, you'll need the relevant current qualifications and approvals.
