Are you a passionate and dynamic Social Worker looking for an exciting new opportunity to make a real difference? As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner in the Broxtowe Community Social Work Team, you'll be at the forefront of transforming social care. You will play a pivotal role in developing our all-age working practices, supporting our Team Managers, and implementing innovative changes. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver high-quality social care services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new working practices.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to less experienced social workers.
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Engage with service users and their families to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and interventions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in adult social care, ideally in a community setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • You will either be an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) or Practice Educator (Level 2) Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adult’s work within multi-agency procedures and experience of staff supervision, training, and development.
  • You will have a full driver’s licence and the use of a car for work (unless disability precludes this).
