Pay Rate: £11.20 - £12.71 per hour

Gourmet Coffee Bar operate 32 outlets across the rail network. We're looking to build a team to operate the kiosk on a 7 day basis, trading from 6am to 8pm. There will be a mixture of shifts, both morning and afternoon, but there will be some lone working so you have to be able to manage your own time well, whilst keeping standards high!

Responsibilities:

  • Helping in building up the business
  • Producing spectacular espresso based drinks for take away customers
  • Keeping on top of the espresso recipe, dialling in the grinder to ensure the perfect pour.
  • Driving sales of other items
  • Front of house duties including sales and cleaning
  • Maintaining a close eye on hygiene and health and safety standards.

Required skills and attributes

Of course, we will provide training, but we are looking for someone with experience with speciality coffee.

  • Professional, but pleasant and outgoing
  • Confident and passionate about what you do
  • Proactive and organized and an excellent communicator
  • Multi task and manage your time well
  • Able to work early mornings and some weekends.

You must be willing and able to get to Salisbury station for 5:30am so check this before applying. Having your own transport would be preferable. Although we're based on train stations, we often start before the trains! As our main customers are commuters, we have to be open and ready before they are!

Pay: £11.20-£12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week

Experience:
