Rex Artisan Bakery is looking for a new FT Shop Manager :) This is the leading front of house role available in Rex.

• We are all busy and productive, but we don't take advantage of you. You can talk about changing requirements and staffing support needed with us.
• We train you. We explain what all the breads are & why they are special so that you are able to talk to customers about them. We help you perfect your coffee-making ourselves and with our roasters' expert help.
• We have great equipment & train you to use it! La Marzocca coffee machine, upgraded grinder, state of the art toastie grill, upgraded dishwasher, hot hold for the customers etc etc
• we invite you to a coffee whilst working, a toastie on your break, staff discount for our lovely products and you can take unsold baked products home for free at the end of the day
• We support charity - we have raised funds for Neuroblastoma, we partner with the National Epilepsy Centre & local Foodshare charities for our unsold bread, we raised <£1k for Ukraine Unicef by making & selling Ukranian Biscotti.

We want you to grow with us and be with us for the long term, like many of our staff have been. As Little Chalfont Bakery Shop Manager/Supervisor, you will lead everything from selling & serving, merchandising, presentation of the bakery, barista, waiter duties, running the team, stock mgt, food hygiene, closing down and generally operating the business in line with the standards set for Rex. Lots of fun responsibility with support & the ears of both the General Manager who oversees all 3 shops, and us owners.
